I read Like a Woman?
According to genderanalyzer.com there's a 78% chance that my blog is written by a woman. Yeah, I'm willing to bet their analysis is sexist, and going by their own poll, they are only right 54% of the time. Maybe bloggers don't fit their mold?

Nah, seems like they look for "girl" words and "boy" words and the like. But maybe it only works with stereotypes?

My most recent 20 entries 'analyze' as 69% probably female, but then, there's a lot of house, home, food, and cooking in those. Go back 40 entries and I drop down to 59% probability, and "quite gender neutral" so I'm guessing much depends on the topics one discusses at any given time.

Agreed. I bet one could experiment and add comments about sports and the like and watch the male points go up.

My blog, which is mostly devoted to politics or writing about events in Pittsburgh, rated 52% male or gender nuetral.

My livejournal, which is mostly devoted to personal writing and fannish writing, rated 67% female.

Intriguing. That offers further insight into the mayhem they call logic.

And Cheryl noted that her personal blog came up "female," while SFAwardsWatch (nearly all of which is her writing), came up "male."

My LJ was scored as "52% male."

Yeah, they need work. Lots of work.

64% chance woman. Hmmm. Can you teach me to be more in touch with my feminine side?

It's kind of fun to run other websites, though. For example, gothhouse.org (mcjulie) is 51% and therefore gender neutral...

Indeed, I'm often told I'm "in touch with my feminine side" but I realize that often it's because things like compassion and conscience are seen as feminine characteristics. Life what? Sexism can go both ways.

They said there's a 100% chance my LiveJournal is written by a woman. *checks* Yep.

Tempted to ask how you checked ;). Thought you'd score more neutral, given the diversity of what you post and your leadership qualities.
